HA!

I've been filling out applications to art grad schools and it's been making me realize how important art is in our lives. I can't say this thought hasn't crossed my mine at time though.

PYT Photo Shoot

Okay okay I hate to admit it but PYT is getting pretty serious up in here'. Today with the help of co -pilot Julie Parrish I had to pleasure of coercing our good friend Ben Decamp - noted surf photographer who's photos have graced the pages of Surfer Magazine, Transworld Surf, The Surfer's Journal among others - with the use of good old Italian home cooking, to take PYT's first professional product shots.

First the food:

Take one hot blooded Italian chef

Plus a lot of cheese and a home made recipe = good eats

Ben in action: The man means business: Check out bendecamp.com to see his work:

White finger magic gloves and all. I can't really ask for more. The final product you ask?
Well...here's a sneek peak:

Classy classy I know right? Don't be J, you can purchase your own in the not so distant future soon at theacademylb.com

Green Sustainable Pools!!!

I had no clue you could have a "Green" pool but wa-la here they are. Apparently Chlorine -a common pool cleaning chemical, has some nasty side effects including causing asthma - no fun- so naturalist and eco friendly people of the world united and started looking for other options- the birth of sustainable natural swimming pools! If taken care of properly these green pools can be mini eco-systems in itself with crystal clear drinkable waters, with no chemicals required.
